Fairy Glen Game Reserve

One Day Safari departing from and returning to Cape Town

This safari journey departs from Cape Town at 07h00. We head north east of the city for approximately 90kms through dramatic mountain ranges and scores of vineyards.

We arrive at the Fairy Glen Game Reserve at 08h20 and start the day with a hearty home-cooked breakfast on the terrace of the old farm house. Then, once aboard the open-air landrover, we take you on a game drive.

On this trip you are likely to see the following animals living in their natural habitat:

* Giraffe
* Rhino
* Bontebok
* Eland
* Hartebeest
* Zebra
* Springbok
* Wildebeest
* Lion (living in a protected camp separate from the other animals)
* And other smaller species (tortoises, rock hyrax etc)
* Many species of birds
* There are plans to introduce cheetah and buffalo to the reserve.
